[PRIV更新] BlackBerry PRIV 的首個系統及安全 OTA 更新 (15年12月)

BlackBerry 在當初推出 BlackBerry PRIV 就是要帶來最安全的 Android OS，BlackBerry PRIV 除了系統經過多重加密之外，在 Android OS 上也承諾會每月也會提供更新，現在就來看看 BlackBerry PRIV 的首個系統及安全 OTA 更新……

從官方商店 ShopBlackBerry 購買的 BlackBerry PRIV 會在12月1日起收到 OTA 更新，而從營運商購買的 BlackBerry PRIV 會在12月7日起收到 OTA 更新。是次更新主要包括:

加強相機效能：加快相機應用速度，並整了低光環境下拍照效能。
更好性能：調整 PRIV 內的軟件，提高系統的整體性能。
改善穩定性：更新包括一些提高可靠性，並減少崩潰的調整。
增強安全性：包括最新12月份 Android 安全修正及安全威脅更新套件。

BlackBerry PRIV 內裡由 BlackBerry 開發的 Android Apps，也會在12月14日後在 Google Play Store 找到更新，包括:

BlackBerry Camera： 加了新的拍照效果 filters
BlackBerry Keyboard：增加語言支持及智能預測打字
BlackBerryHub Contacts：整合 WhatsApp 至 BlackBerryHub
DTEK by BlackBerry：更多通知提醒的選項設置

The PRIV’s First Software Update Is Live – Here’s How to Download It

When we announced the PRIV, we made a commitment tobring BlackBerry’s legendary security expertise to Android. A key area of focus in that regard was the release of monthly security updates for the OS, in order to keep your PRIV secure and your data private. That’s why starting today (Dec. 1), our first maintenance release is available to all PRIVs purchased through ShopBlackBerry (and to carrier-purchased PRIVs starting on December 7).

Here’s what the release, which brings productivity AND security improvements (and requires approx 475 MB of space), has to offer:

An improved camera: We’ve implemented a number of tweaks that improve the speed of our camera app, and re-tuned it for better low-light image quality.

Better performance: We’ve also tweaked the PRIV’s software to improve overall system performance

Improved stability: The update further includes a number of adjustments designed to improve device reliability and reduce instances of crashing and freezing.

Enhanced security: Lastly, the release includes December’s security patches – rest easy knowing your device is protected against the latest Android security threats.

Be sure to also keep an eye out for coming updates to BlackBerry’s Android apps: Blackberry Keyboard, Blackberry Hub,Blackberry Camera, and DTEK by BlackBerry. The latest version of each will be available through the Google Play Store on December 14. The improvements include:

Camera: Great new filters to engage your artistic side

Keyboard: Increased language support and emojis added to predictive typing

Hub & Contacts: Now includes WhatsApp

DTEK by BlackBerry: More notification options to alert you when apps use your info
